My poor sore handed baby!

Monday night right after Cameron got off work, a semi truck hit a tree in Dairy Queens parking lot. A huge tree branch was caught up in the front of the truck. Cam and a few others went over to help get the tree limb off the truck. As the man was backing up

to free the branch, the other guy helping lift it dropped it and the branch fell and smashed Cams hand in between the tree and curb.

His pinky, ring, and middle fingers are all broken.

He has to get surgery on them Monday.

They are sticking pins in his fingers  to hold, and put them  back in place.

They thought at first they were going to have to amputate his ring finger.

They had to cut his ring off, and he has eight stitches holding his fingers together

and a splint on right now.

It was a long night at the ER.

After he called to tell me what happened my Mother and I took off to meet him at the hospital.

They ended up shipping him to a different hospital in Lexington to see a hand specialist.

He was (and still is) SO incredibly strong and brave. I would have been crying like a little baby :p

Even though it's only been one day after the accident he went to school today because he didn't want to miss.

His hand looked so much worse in real life than in the pictures.

Can't wait to see my poor sore handed baby this weekend so I can take care of him and spoil him some. He for sure needs it!

I'm going out today to pick up some special treats for him :]

After his surgery, he won't have much movement in his three fingers.

He was worried because he can't work so he won't have too much money for Christmas this year to get me a lot.

I told him his Christmas present to me was not losing his fingers, or dying! LOL
